Directions
- Sift the flour, ginger and mixed spice together.
- On a Low heat, melt the golden syrup, butter and brown sugar in a saucepan until a smooth liquid.
- Allow to cool slightly and add to the flour mixture together with the egg.
- Mix well to form a dough and with a rolling pin roll into 3-4mm sheet. Cut into snowmen, christmas trees, or reindeer shapes depending on your available cutters.
- Place on a baking sheet making sure to leave some room for them to grow.
- Pre-heat your Oven to 180C, gas mark 4, fan assisited 160C
- Bake your Gingerbread Biscuit Shapes for 8-10 minutes, until golden.
- Leave to
cool, then decorate with some coloured icing sugar pens.
